About the Role

As an Entsia Project Manager you will oversee and own Entsia implementation projects end-to-end, ensuring successful delivery. Our customers range from small and medium Underwriting Agencies to national and multinational insurers with a combination of fixed price, and time and materials (T&M) deliveries. You will be driving successful customer outcomes with our implementations and leading and running more complex enterprise projects.

This is a hands-on role, requiring you to manage projects (including the project team), as well as execute on some of the deliverables. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will contribute to scaling our practices, collaboratively drive improvement and bring the team along the journey.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage customer stakeholders at all levels, and build relationships to ensure successful customer onboarding (for new customers) and delivery
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day management of project team members including Implementation Consultants and Software Developers
  • Own all aspects of a project, including planning, change management, scope management, task planning, risk management, commercial / budget management, and progress reporting
  • Serve as the overall leader of the project team and display excellent leadership skills in forming a team, ensuring strong communication channels, giving clarity, motivation, and direction to the team throughout the delivery
  • Be responsible for the wellbeing, mentoring and performance monitoring of project team members
  • Resolve and communicate risks and issues with a timely escalation to the Head of Delivery where necessary
  • Hold customers to account in meeting their commitments and responsibilities and communicate deadlines and solutions to customers
  • Responsible for maintaining a focus on commercial outcomes for Entsia and the application of commercial considerations to all decisions
  • Be able to manage 1-2 large projects or 3-4 small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management
  • Complying with company policies and procedures on the handling of personal data, data confidentiality and information security

  • Experience in managing both waterfall and agile software delivery projects
  • Experience in the successful, on-time, on-budget delivery of large and complex technology projects

  • Experience in the insurance industry (highly desirable, but not required)
