Chubb is the largest publicly traded property and casualty insurance company in the world, serving everyone from individuals and families to businesses of all sizes.
We were engaged to deliver a solution for Chubb Australia to expand their Market Facing Platform (MFP) strategy by providing brokers with multiple distribution channels and products, cost effectively and in a short time frame.
Our Approach
To best fit with Chubb’s needs, we took an enterprise semi-agile approach, working with key stakeholders across the business to meet all criteria and requirements.
This enabled us to deliver and support five products across four channels and two countries in a timely and cost-effective manner with added enhancements along the way.
It was critical that both sides were clear on the roadmap to ensure a well-managed project from end-to-end.
Implementation
Chubb had an opportunity to create an Intermediary portal and access the broad distribution capabilities of Ebix Sunrise Exchange, Steadfast Client Trading Platform (SCTP) and AON Direct with room for further channels to be included at a later date.
The insurance products implemented included Business Package, Cyber Insurance, Professional Indemnity (PI) and General Liability (GL) – with further enhancements to come.
We also integrated into Chubb’s general ledger, claims history and natural perils rating services, as well as supporting an independent New Zealand product with shared configurations. All while working with very complex premium rating algorithms developed by Chubb actuaries.
The implementation was swiftly and smoothly executed thanks to local support, extensive experience and strong communication with an ongoing open dialogue.
The Outcome
By the end of 2021, Chubb will distribute multiple products through the new Entsia platform, having successfully opened up new distribution channels for Chubb Australia.
